Meet Gidget!

We first meet Gidget when she joins us in 4th and 5th grade.  Through computer clubs and workshops that are offered after school, these Little Gidgets learn about information technology . Their mentors and role models are cool older girls from their own neighborhood. In time, Gidget incrementally builds the critical technology skills that will lead her to future educational and professional success.

Ultimately, each Gidget has the necessary skills, social and professional networks to participate fully and assume leadership positions in a technology driven society.  She also has grown into a cool, older girl - a Big Gidget - that can help sustain the project by becoming a mentor and role model to the Little Gidgets entering the pipeline.
